Preschool

Yesterday Auklin started Preschool!!! He is so ready for school he can hardly stand it- I can't believe he is old enough to start school! 

I am so impressed with his teacher, she came to visit him at our house and brought him a book and read it to him. She talked with him to get to know him- She asked me if there was anything specific I wanted her to work with him on. I asked for an examples cause I didn't know what to expect her to teach him- she said "working on his letters, counting to 10, learning colors and mixing colors, sounds of letters ..." I felt pretty good when I had to say "well he already knows all the letters and how to write them all and the sounds they make, he knows how to count to 50, he knows all the colors and what 2 colors make a new color, he knows how to write his name... he is actually learning how to read small words... can  you teach him how to read?" :D She looked at me and said "yes! We can teach him how to blend the sounds of letters together to help him begin to read!" I though that was so awesome! Auklin also has a little lisp on his S's so I asked if she could help him work on that and she said "Yes! we have a speech therapist that can help give ideas to help him at school and in the home!" I was seriously so excited! Auklin loves going to school! His first day he came come and I asked how school was. He said it was fun. I asked if he met any new friends and he said yes... trying to pry a little more out of him I asked who he met and what was their name? He said Kaylee. I asked what he like most about Kaylee and he said "she was the prettiest!" :) Thats my boy! lol- His other favorite fried is Leonardo because his name is the same as leonardo the Ninja turtle who in fact is his favorite Ninja turtle! Kanyin did surprisingly well not having his buddy home with him. He wanted to stay and play with Auklin at preschool and was a little sad to leave but he did great! He only asked "mom, where's Aukie?" like 10 times while he was gone :) I myself thought I would be a little sad to see him gone all day since he is my helper! The feelings were bitter sweet- I miss him so much but it goes so fast and I know he is where he needs to be! I didn't even cry when I dropped him off and he didn't even think twice about having me leave! :) I had to ask him to give me a hug when I left :) He was so excited to be there- it was great!
Hooray for Preschool and for growing up! 

Kasey and I have picked up Golfing together!!! Well I (chelsi) have always been into golfing and Kasey has gone a few times but didn't loves it since his clubs were way too small and couldn't hit the ball right- This year between Kasey's dad, my dad and Blake Kasey has been wanting to golf more and more- SO, with the help of new clubs Kasey is on his way to the PGA ;) lol - If you know Kasey well he does not like to spend money, well we have a special "golf fund" :) we actually put a little percent into it from each paycheck- Although he uses this fund more than me ;) - and we are supposed to go together- I am so happy he finally enjoys golfing as much as me and we have something to do together!!!  

Apparently we only have ONE outfit we like to golf in! LOL

 

Catching up!!!

Well I have a lot of catching up to do so I will try not to drag it on forever but... here goes! 

Ever since Greysin was born (January 27th) I feel awful not blogging about it! So I thought I would just kind of recap important things that have happened since then- so basically this whole year in a few (hundred) words! So like stated before, Greysin was born to start our year off with a Bang! He was my littlest baby weighing in at 7.7 lbs and 19 inches long. When we came home with him he only weighed 6.10 lbs... He was so tiny compared to my other 2-

  He is such a great baby! He is so happy all the time and such a great sleeper- since day one he has slept form 11- 7 and now 9-7!! I love him so much! ;) His little laugh is so contagious and it sounds just like his brothers laughs. They are all so much alike in so many ways- Everyone calls them my cookie cutter babies, since they all look so much alike! He is now 6 months old and is rolling and sitting like a champ- He loves bath time and chewing on his toys! He like to just munch on everything and anything- My favorite thing is when he "kisses" my face :)

KANYIN

Kanyin is 2!! He has grown up so much since Greyson was born- I was really worried because he was quite the little rebel child and loves to do the exact opposite of what we say- He was constantly climbing on high dangerous places, falling out of windows, pulling dressers on top of himself- he is quite the adrenaline junkie! Over the last few months he is becoming a better listener and taming down quite a bit! He is so cute with his baby brother and loves to talk to him and hold him for about 5 seconds :) He now has his own little baby he likes to take with him everywhere and even tells me when he is poopy! His little baby Tigger. Kanyin loves to play outside and get into things- loves the water and likes to imitate everyone- whether its copying what you say or the way you stand with your hands in your pockets- he like to copy you :) Kanyin learned how to pedal on his little bike this summer (June) He also got a scooter for his 2nd birthday!!! He is pro status on that thing! Kanyin LOVES motorcycles- just the sight of them! He is actually a little scaredy cat of loud noises... its pretty cute! He is becoming quite fond of his older brother Auklin- when he gets hurt he wants "Auckie" to love him better- he is always wondering where Auckie is and wakes him up when he wakes up- he just loves to play with his big brother Auckie! Kanyin is my Mr. Independent in EVERYTHING! He loves him some candy and animal crackers from Cosco! :)

AUKLIN

Auklin has been playing soccer and is getting pretty good at it- He can't wait till he is old enough to play baseball- he is counting down the days! He absolutely loves having a new baby brother- He is such a good helper- I caught him once changing Greysin's diaper while he was laying on the ground. :) Auklin is all around a pretty good kid- Everyone tells me how sweet he is- he opens doors for me and unlocks the door when my arms are full- When he likes his little brother to play with him he is sweet to let him play- He is good at sticking up for people- at the same time he is a followerer and can sometimes be a stinker! :) He is learning and growing and he is so Smart! He is learning how to spell and add and subtract. He asks me to teach him a new word almost everyday! I love how loves to learn! He starts preschool in just a couple weeks. He is a competitor just like his dad- he makes everything into a competition.... lol I will leave it at that! Auklin is tough but sensitive at the same time- He tries to be tougher than he likes to be- he is Brave and tries to be a good example to his little brothers. Auklin learned how to ride his bike with no training wheels and is now learning how to swim and loves it! He is so proud of himself when he learns new things!

Trip down memory lane

So I decided to take a little trip down memory lane- I went back and looked at our blog from the beginning.  So I decided to pick a picture or 2 from each year and repost it- It was fun to read back over the past few years and remember everything... My challenge to you is to go do this! There will me laughs, tears, and texts to people asking remember when? :) Its fun- so just do it! :) 

2008

Our first camping trips tougher and Kasey had his dirt bike that he sold- for me- to help buy my camera for my birthday- He loves me!

We became parents and had our sweet little Auklin- our Journey began!

2009

 This year was special for all of us- This sweet miracle came into our lives- Gracie. After many prayers and hopes and dreams- She came into our family- this was at the courthouse when it was made official!

Then we were able to be a part of their most special day... making it REALLY official ;) 

2010

The beginning of our yard remodel  :) 

Auklin loved to be outside- what little boy doesn't... He loves helping his dad out in the yard and garden.

2011

 We became a family of 4! Auklin loved his new baby brother- Kanyin was such a sweet little baby! He was such a good sleeper and just happy and content all the time. They get along even now and play so fun together.

2012

We continued the remodeling to the outside of our house. Kasey and I have so much fun projecting together and these shutters got us so excited we were out till 11 at night working on them together! We have a new project every year and I can't wait till he is done with school so we can begin! 

2013

I cheated- I kind of quite blogging and have not even posted since last year but i will do better for sure since going back and remembering! 

We had our 3rd little boy! 

Greysin is such a good baby- he like Kanyin is so happy and content. Both Auklin and Kanyin love him so much!

We named him Greysin Blake Craven...
