Sunday we went to the Cravens and had a yummy dinner- Kyron hid our easter basket down in the salt bucket (water softener) in the storage/furnace room. It was a great spot. It took a long time to find! We also colored eggs at the Cravens, we experimented with rubber bands, tie-dye, tried some glitter but it didnt turn out- the glitter was broken. : ( But we had a super fun time! Happy Easter everyone! hope you had an enjoyable weekend!

Hosanna

Well my beautiful talented mom was in a production called Hosanna put on by Lex dea Zavedo hahaha I have no clue how to spell it- I have never heard of him to be honest but i guess he is pretty famous!!! he is an amazing pianist and there was 3 main singers that sang songs telling the life of jesus in his last days- it was so great and my mom had the privilege to sing in the choir, they did amazing!!! The night we went we actually got to meet Elder L. Tom Perry. He is very tall : ) It was so cool! Great job mom!

Cereal

So we decided to try to feed Auklin some cereal, he watching us eat all the time and showed some interest in eating, so we gave it a try and he actually did very well! He is still getting used to it but I think he will catch on pretty quick.

COUNT YOUR MANY BLESSINGS

WOW I just have to share the most fabulous story of my life right now! Kasey and I have been trying to get medicaid for Auklin cause Kasey's insurance through work is so expensive. Well they said I could apply for all the way back to Dec and cover Auklins birth- I thought "OF COURSE, PLEASE HELP ME DO THAT" well after months of phone calls and faxes and paper work, I were told they could only go back to Dec 17 because they didnt get all our paper work in time for us to be cleared back to the 9 th... seriously 8 days away from being debt free- So I called our case worker a week ago asking if there is anyway way we can get 8 more days. Well she called this morning and said sorry but there is nothing we can do- Well I was determined, I asked for her supervisors number and she continued to tell me I could try it but there is no way I can get it extended, she continued to tell me she already ran it by 2 supervisors to try an get it for me and it is just not going to happen. So I gave this guy a call told him the whole story and he said he had to investigate. Well I have to say I am thankful my caseworker was not so bright- She forgot to tell me that they never received Kasey's proof of termination... He said she could not have approved me at all without that information. Then he said he had to dig deeper. Well he called back and told me hoe frustrated and confused he was and I politely said, no offense but this is what I have had to deal with all month to try and get approved. I guess I was out with the wrong case worker. And he said.... Bum ba da da... We are just going to approve you to the first of Dec. Sorry for all the confusion! :D My prayers were answered!!! Auklin's birth is free and we are basically out of debt! Pay your tithing people you simply cant afford not to!!!

Cousin!!!

Well I am a little late at posting this but I just wanted to share how cute these kids are! Kaseys sister Mindy came to vist from Texas and our niece Katelyn was so fun this trip, Last time they came she was so sick and it was so sad but she was really feeling great this trip and she got to play with Auklin and now that he is a little older he was more alert and it was so much fun to watch her talk to him and pat his head and rock him in his chair. Its fun to know they are getting to know each other and even though Auklin is still not aware of whats going on he is getting to know his cousin and loves her- I think they will have a lot of fun!

Tubby Time

Well we had Auklins first bubble bath and he loved it. He was splashing and smiling so much! He is just so cute in these pictures.

Happy Birthday

Today is our friend Shal's Birthday so we wanted to say Happy Birthday Shal, hope your having a marvelous day!!! Shal Is a mother of just about 2 :) she has a little boy that is 3 and is expecting her second a girl, the end of April beginning of May time frame. Her family is so much fun to play with and be around. She is very creative and makes the cutest decor for any home, especially her own. We love you Shal hope you have a great day!!!
